MONROVIA: On Monday, December 14, 2020, Thomas Fallah, senatorial candidate for the governing Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) visited the Headquarters of the CDC in Congo Town, Monrovia.
During his visit, Representative Fallah thanked all Liberians particularly partisans of the CDC across the country for their tremendous support given the ruling party during the senatorial elections and national referendum.
He urged CDCians to unite for the growth and development of the country and its people.
Fallah: “I will like to add my voice to the Chairman of the CDC, to extend congratulations to my friend and brother, Senator Abraham Darius Dillon, for your proposed win from the just-ended December 8 Senatorial Elections. On behalf of my campaign team and my family, we salute you for your victory.”
Representative Fallah added that despite the results of the senatorial elections in Montserrado County not favoring him, he will continue his engagements with the people of Montserrado County by doing everything possible to address their needs.
It seems the race for the Montserrado Senatorial Seat is going to an end as provisional results from the National Elections Commission (NEC) are upwardly pointing to victory for Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) Candidate, Senator Dillon, as his closet rival from the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Representative Thomas Fallah (known as T-5) has publicly surrendered to Senator Dillon for his resounding victory at the polls.
Representative Fallah’s or (T-5’s) decision to congratulate his rival Senator Dillon as winner of the just-ended electoral process comes on the back of several provisional results released by the country’s electoral body (NEC) which placed Senator Dillon far ahead with over eighty thousand (80,000) or sixty percent of the votes cast.
For his part, Senator Dillon said Rep. Fallah reached to me via telephone, conceding defeat, and heartily congratulating us on our re-election as Senator of Montserrado County.
“During the call, we joked and laughed as usual. We wish to publicly thank Rep. Fallah for the call and acknowledged his hard effort during the campaign activities. He fought well!!”, Senator Dillon indicated.
“Now that the elections are over, it is time to govern well together in the best interest of our people and country. We give God the glory for the peace and harmony!!, Senator Dillon emphasized via his Facebook page yesterday.
