MONROVIA: The Technical Director of the Liberia National Wushu Association (LNWA), Master Junior P. Russian, has disclosed that Children are the future leaders of the country and their preparation from childhood should not be taken for granted.
He noted that some fathers abandoned their children and leave them with their mothers, but they failed to realize that what God has destined for any child or children will come to pass.
Master Russian who is one Liberia’s Martial Artists stressed that, Liberian Mothers should not neglect their children, no matter the condition.
She said mothers should be strong for their children future.
Master Russian made the statement yesterday at the 18th graduation ceremony of the Kingdom Garden Section of the Faith Mission Academy of the Apostolic Faith Church School System located in the Gaye Town Community, on the Old Road in Sinkor Monrovia.
Master Russian maintained that more of the disadvantaged youth across the country never had people to guide them from the childhood and so they ended up being victims to drugs and criminality.
He asserted that it is about time for Liberians to see the need to help rehabilitate the disadvantaged youth collectively.
He pointed out that parents should not allow love for their children and destroy them, but ensure strong disciplinary actions in the homes.
Master Russian emphasized that parents should not compromise their children’s education for anything because they are the future leaders.
The Liberian Martial Artist then urged Parents to make the necessary sacrifices in educating their children to prepare them for the future challenges.
He stressed that education is the only channel that will yield fruits in terms of development for their families, community, the society and the nation.
For his part, the Principal of the school, Mr. J. Yohyah N. Salwah II, lauded the school’s Parents Teachers Association for its continuous support to the school authority.
He said this is making great impart in the learning atmosphere of the school. He calls education as a fundamental right for all children whether rich or poor, every child must be educated.
Principal Salwah stated that the school is buttressing the Liberian Government effort to ensure that Liberian children are educated.
He encouraged the parents to continue sending their children to the “Faith Mission Academy” because it provides sound educational foundation for their children.
He encouraged parents and guardians to take advantage of this opportunity to enroll their children to the “Faith Mission Academy of the Apostolic Faith School System” for quality education.
Principal Salwah expressed thanks and appreciation to staff and parents for the collaboration and commitment to ensure that academic years 2022/2022 was successful.
