Cassell Laid To Rest In USA … JNB Pays Last Respect

PHILIADELPHIA-USA: Unity Party (UP’s) Standard Bearer, Joseph Nyuma Boakai, at the head of a mammoth congregation pays last respect to fallen People’s Liberation Party (PLP) Leader, Dr. Daniel Estrada Koholo Cassell, in the United States of America (USA).

The funeral Service took place at the Victory Harvest International Church in Philadelphia, PA USA on Saturday, January 28, 2023.

The service was attended by scores of Diaspora Liberians, and family of the deceased.

On his visit to the offices of the PLP following the death of Dr. Cassell, the Unity Party Standard Bearer said, the fallen political leader of PLP had a clear view of what Liberia is going through.

“Dr. Cassell built an institution,” the former Vice President said, “and was determined and he always consulted to catch up on issues in the country.”

Ambassador Boakai made these assertions when he signed the book of condolence for the fallen political leader and Standard Bearer of the People’s Liberation Party at the Party’s headquarters in Sinkor, on January 4.

Ambassador Boakai expressed sympathy on behalf of the Unity Party, and his family and pointed out that we all will miss him. Earlier, former Vice President Boakai paid a tribute to the People of Kolahun District, Lofa County, the People’s Liberation Party and the family of Dr. Cassell.

Earlier, the National Chairman of the People’s Liberation Party, Mr.Taplah Doe, told Ambassador Boakai that Dr. Cassel came back to forester his dream of transforming Liberia, because Liberia is in a terrible state.

Mr. Doe emphasized that the PLP will work with like-minded Liberians to achieve the dreams of Dr. Cassell.

The PLP Chairman praised Ambassador Boakai, saying if he Boakai wanted to get rich at the expense of the Liberian people, he would have gotten rich.

As a traditional Uncle to Dr. Cassell, the PLP looks forward to a good working relationship with Ambassador Joseph Nyuma Boakai.

Those present at the signing of the book of condolence from the PLP included Mr. Taplah Doe, National Chairman; Mr. Daniel Gayou, National Secretary General; Mr. Kalifal Kromah, Vice Chair for Media Relations; Snob Jabbah, Women Assembly. Chairlady and Pascal Bahntee, Assistant Secretary General for Press and Publicity.
