MONROVIA: The Head of Public Affairs of the Liberia National Police (LNP), Moses Carter, has disclosed that officers of the LNP, on Saturday, January 28, 2023, arrested Emmanuel T. Momo, a resident of Zubah Town Community in Paynesville City for murdering his biological mother, Lorpu Singbeh, age 57.
The Police Spokesman said suspect Emmanuel T. Momo is being detained at the Headquarters of the Liberia National Police on Capitol Hill, in Monrovia. He is currently undergoing police investigation pending court trial.
Disclosing this at a press briefing held at the LNP Headquarters on Capitol Hill, on Monday, January 30, 2023, the Police Spokesman said suspect Momo allegedly mobbed his mother with something believed to be a stick.
According to him, the remains of the deceased victim, Lorpu Singbeh, is being deposited at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital Morgue for preservation. JFK Memorial Hospital is located in Greater Sinkor, lower Monrovia. It is unclear as why the son killed his biological mother; writes T.R Dixon.
