MONROVIA: The Political Leader of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP), Alexander B. Cummings, lauded graduates of Key Institute of Vocational and Professional Studies located in the Township of, Gardnerville for fostering the courage to attain education.
The CPP leader added that education is the foundation of what any one person can become.
He praised the over forty-five women and young girls who graduated with various vocational skills that are essential to nation-building.
The women who obtained diplomas in various vocational disciplines such as plumbing, electricity, tailoring, catering and pastry, and others, were cautioned to use their skills to promote development.
He added that during his administration, if he is elected as President of Liberia, government will focus on improving the education sector of Liberia aimed at improving the lives of teachers through the provision of the requisite skills training and better salaries.
The CPP leader admonished the women not to only attain education but to ensure that Liberia gets better.
Mr. Cummings also encouraged the women to adventure into agricultural studies.
According to him, education in the agricultural sector is a requirement that every Liberian must focus on, asserting that it is one of the best tools for nation-building.
The CPP leader noted that Liberia, under his leadership, will invest in agriculture, something he said is one of the focus points of his government and every person should focus on improving the society through positive means.
