MONROVIA: A consortium of grassroot women organizations has launched “Project Accountable Safe Space (PASS) Women’s Accountability Room.”

Giving an introduction and purpose of the room, Atty. Mmonbeydo N. Joah, host of the PASS WAR noted that, women and their organizations are often the first to respond, playing leadership roles in their communities.

She added that such role is to ensure ongoing access to basic rights for women, in their diversity, and for “marginalized” groups, ensuring nobody is left behind.

However, they receive little visibility and funding for their works and their voices are largely ignored or silenced, she indicated.

She narrated that PASS WAR will provide legal aid and legal representation for women participating in the elections who will face violence.
