Top Burkina Faso Business Delegation Arrives In Liberia …Eyes Vast Investments In Mining, Aviation, Roads, Others

MONROVIA: Burkinabe Investor, Mr. Ali Konate, as Head of a High-Powered Business Delegation has arrived in Liberia.

The business tycoon said he has come to Liberia in line with President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s business and development policy, styled: “ARREST” – Agriculture, Road Reconciliation, Education, Sanitation, and Tourism.

Mr. Konate aims to invest in various sectors of the Liberian economy including mining, aviation, road construction, logistics management, among others.

In a statement to journalists upon their arrival at the Roberts International Airport in Margibi County on Friday, February 10, 2024, Mr. Konate disclosed their intention to launch a plethora of investments in Liberia is to stimulate the state’s economy, pending the approval of Boakai administration.

Mr. Konate, the Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise KANGALA Sarl Construction Company based in Burkina Faso, has already extended his investment footprint to Mali, Congo-Kinshasa, and several other African nations.

The visit of Mr. Konate and his delegation signifies a significant milestone in Liberia’s efforts to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)s gear toward the growth and development of the Liberian economy as well as jobs creation.

The delegation’s interest in investing in key sectors such as mining, aviation, and road construction aligns with Liberia’s strategic development priorities.
As Liberia continues to strive for economic diversification and sustainable development, the visit of Mr. Konate and his delegation serves as a testament to the country’s attractiveness as an investment destination, a young Liberian, commented at the Roberts International Airport (RIA), minutes after the delegation’s safe arrival in Margibi County.

The delegation said it is focused in helping to advance President Boakai’s development agenda that reflects a shared vision for prosperity and progress in Liberia and across the African continent.

Mr. Ali Konate and his delegation to Liberia signals a new chapter in the country’s economic development journey.
