To Deal With Challenges At Hand: I Will Respond With Vigor …Justice Minister Assures

Monrovia: Justice Minister, Cllr. N. Oswald Tweh, has vowed to ensure impartial handling of judicial matters in the country.

Cllr. Tweh also told the public that he will confront every obstacle with honesty and integrity and as well strive to uphold the principles of the country legal system.

He made the pronouncements on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, when he was commissioned by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai.

The commissioning ceremony was held at the Executive Mansion on Capitol Hill, in Monrovia.

In a remark, Cllr. Tweh thanked President Boakai for the confident, trust reposed in him by President Boakai.

He emphasized that it is a privilege to be appointed to a public office.

“I will faithfully and honestly assist you to the fullest of my ability in implementing your agenda and vision,” Cllr. Tweh, who is also Attorney General of Liberia assured President Boakai.

The Liberian Justice Minister said that he is deeply honored by the trust placed in him by the President of Liberia and the Liberian people.

“I Pledge to work tirelessly to implement the vision of Liberia, particularly in ensuring the impartial handling of judicial matters without pretense,” he declared.

“I assured you of my fullest and unflinching support in the fulfillment of my duties. I have heard the duty call and have answered,” said Cllr. Tweh.

Minister Tweh noted that he is aware of what is presently at stake in the country and as such, President Boakai entrusted him with a very heavy responsibility therefore, he will not run from his responsibility but will fulfill his duty with zeal and vigor unpretending to deal with the challenges at hand.
Cllr. Tweh told the President that he has endeavored to transform the society to a fair, just and inclusive society in which the rule of law is respected as such he will fulfill his duties with utmost sincerity and dedication.
For his part, President Boakai in remark, urged the Justice Minister to exercise his authority with integrity and diligence and always keep the best interest of the citizens at heart.
The Liberian Leader also highlighted the importance of Minister Tweh’s role in ensuring the fair and impartial administration of justice in the country.
Meanwhile, President Boakai charged Minister Tweh with a critical task of upholding justice and serving the Liberian people with utmost dedication. By: Linda Gbartie
