MONROVIA: Liberia’s House Speaker, Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa, has been honored as the guest of honor at the prestigious 12th African Leadership Magazine Persons Of The Year Awards Ceremony. The event took place Friday, March 15, 2024, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The African Leadership Magazine Persons Of The Year (POTY) Ceremony is an esteemed annual event that brings together policymakers, private sector leaders, civil society leaders, thought leaders, and stakeholders from across Africa and beyond.
It serves as a platform to discuss critical issues concerning Africa’s socio-economic growth and development, while also recognizing individuals who exemplify people-centered leadership and promote a pan-African agenda.
This year’s event, themed: “Building Resilient African Economies,” convened over 300 participants from various sectors, including policymakers, industry leaders, investors, academics, and development agencies.
It provided a unique opportunity for high-level networking and the exchange of ideas aimed at advancing Africa’s development agenda.
