The Head Bishop and General Overseer of the United Pentecostal Church of Liberia, in Sinkor, Monrovia, Stephen T. Y. Banda, says God has revealed to him that Liberia would incur a national disaster if Liberians turn their back on Jesus Christ.

“God said, my servant Bishop Stephen T. Y. Banda, tell Liberians to turn to Jesus.” “When we do that,” the Lord said, “He will do wonders in this nation.”

Bishop Banda disclosed that he received series of repercussions or upshots after he withheld the Lord’s Message intended for Liberians, for coupled of days.
“When the Lord gave me this message, I held it back for coupled of days. And He came back to me and said, if you don’t do what I want you to do, I will cut you off. So, I stood in the Church on Sunday, and delivered said message to the Church, and then, I decided for the whole nation to know through this medium,” the Pentecostal Bishop added.
According to Bishop Banda, God also revealed to him that the rebuilding process of Liberia, under the administration of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, requires Three-Day National Fast and Prayers.
The Bishop narrated that God revealed to him that the Liberian Nation would incur national disaster if Liberians cannot adhere to the revelations that God made to him.

He did not however, state the specific disaster that looms over Liberia, if the citizens fail to comply with the revelations from God.
Bishop Banda spoke with reporters on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at the Free United Pentecostal Church edifice in Sinkor. He stressed that Three-Day National Fast and Prayers are essential in every aspect of Liberia’s transformation and rebuilding process.
Bishop Banda: “If Liberia faithfully obeys the Fast and Prayers, God will do wonders for Liberia. I can’t add to, or subtract from the words of God, but it will be good for the nation to follow what God has told me to tell his people.”
“The nation and the children of God have to focus on praying for healing of the nation so that the wraths of God will not fall on them,” the Pentecostal Bishop emphasized.
Bishop Banda: “This country is not a place for sinful people. The nation has to turn to God for salvation.”
Additionally, the Liberia Prelate calls on his fellow church leaders to play significant part in the Fast and Pray for national transformation and reconstruction.

“It is my prayer that God will continue to give our leaders wisdom to bring knowledgeable people to help in the building the country and not people who will promote their own selfish interests,” he stressed.
