SINOE COUNTY: Representative Alex S. Noah of Sinoe County Electoral District #3 has said that the Unity Party led government, headed by President Joseph N. Boakai, has been proceeding wrongly since taking over the leadership of the country.
According to Representative Noah, this is demonstrated by “the action of unlawfully dismissing innocent Liberians from various government ministries and agencies for no tangible reason.”
The CDC lawmaker informed the public that it is a wrong thing for a government to take office and immediately begin to dismiss innocent citizens.
According to him, since in the history of Liberia, the Boakai led government is the only regime that had dismissed more Liberians them any government.
Rep. Noah made the statement on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, when he spoke via OK FM afternoon show in Monrovia.
The Sinoe County Lawmaker decried the action by the UP-led government to take office and immediately began putting Liberians out of jobs.
He asserted that such move indicates that the Government is not in the interest of the Liberian people.
Representative Nuoh stated that since he won the election, he has been working in the interest of his people at the House of Representatives.
The CDC lawmaker informed the public that he went to the Capitol Building to serve not for self- enrichment.
The Sinoe County lawmaker disclosed that he had already started fulfilling some of the promises made to his people during the elections.
The CDC lawmaker informed the public that within six months’ time, he provided to Sinoe women 5 million Liberian Dollars as revering fund without any interest in return.
According to him, this was some of the promises made to his people during the election.
He explained that after the election, he went back to his people to appreciate them for his election.
The lawmaker also disclosed that he went to the county to revisit those projects he started and completed during the campaign and those which are yet to be completed.
Already the lawmaker has stated the construction of a multi-purpose office in the district which is the first of its kind in the history of Sinoe County.
The lawmaker stated that upon completion of the multi-purpose, every organization in the district will have an office there. He added that he mean-well for the citizens of Sinoe County.
Representative Noah voiced out that recently he was in Ethiopia where he attended a legislative function.
There, he was opportune to have met an investor who expressed interest of investing in Sinoe County. According to him, if this is possible, his people and the country stand to benefit from job opportunities.
Representative Noah further stated that his office is focusing on opening vocational school in the county. The lawmaker has also made intervention in the health sector of the district by purchasing an ambulance.
Eleven individuals contested against Representative Noah and he defeated them in the just-ended elections. Representative Noah is the former Port Manager of Greenville Port in Sinoe County.
