Upon understanding what had happened, Miatta, with the help of some neighbors immediately rushed her son to the Sinje Health Center for treatment.
However, the child condition remains critical but stable and as well the medical team at the Sinje Health Center are doing everything possible to ensure that the infant receives the care as required.
Several residents have expressed fear and uncertainty as parents are becoming vigilant about the movement and safety of their children in the county.
Meanwhile, Miatta has launched an SOS called to the public and organizations to assist her with medical and financial support as she cannot afford payment for the treatment of the child.
As the investigations continue, residents of Tienii and the entire Grand Cape Mount are in solidarity with Miatta and her son, hoping that justice will be rendered and the perpetrator would be brought to book and prosecuted.
