MONROVIA: As a way of identifying with the needy, especially the orphans, Kuoh Foundation has reached out to several orphanage homes with the distribution of cash and rice.

The Kuoh Foundation is a humanitarian organization run by Liberia Football Association (LFA) presidential aspirant, Mr. Anthony Cassell Kuoh, who is also the CEO of FC Fassell, Determine Girls and the Cassell Football Academy. Mr. Kuoh is also a renowned Liberian businessman who operates the New Electric Energy Vehicle (NEEV), an e-mobility startup in Liberia.

Accordingly, in line with its core activities, the Kuoh Foundation (humanitarian arm of the Kuoh’s investments in Liberia), on the eve of the country’s Independence Day, identified with five orphanage homes across Montserrado County.

The five orphanage homes include: Love a Child Orphanage Home situated in VOA on the RIA Highway, Rock of Devine Children Home located in the ELWA Community, Amazing Grace Orphanage Home located on the RIA Highway, Center for the Age Orphanage in the township of Gardnersville, and CCDC Orphanage Home in Bardnersville.

Each of the five homes was given cash in soup kind and 25 bags of rice for their Independence Day celebration.

Speaking during the donation of the items, Mr. Kuoh pointed out that gesture was the organization’s way of identifying with orphans for the Independence celebration.

The Liberian sports promoter, businessman and humanitarian indicated that there was no other better way of celebrating the July 26 rather than coming down to identify with the needy children.

“As Christians and humanitarians, one of our core values is to give back to society and this is exactly what we are doing. These underprivileged kids in our society need our support and so we must reach out to them. Like any other child or children, these are our future leaders and so those of us who have the means must rise to the occasion to reach to them,” asserted Mr. Kuoh.

For their part, the beneficiaries lauded the Kuoh Foundation and its CEO for the kind gesture and craved the mercy of the Lord for more blessings upon the organization so that it would in turn be blessed.

Since its establishment, the Kuoh Foundation has rendered several humanitarian services, accomplished series of outreach missions as well as making meaningful and heart-touching donations.

It can be recalled that back in April of this year, the Kuoh Foundation and Academy distributed assorted food items to several mosques across Montserrado County in observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

The assorted food items then included 1,000 bags of 25kg rice and 80 cartons of cooking oil, worth over US$30,000.

The items were intended to support Muslims during the month-long fasting period. During the time, over 40 mosques benefited from this philanthropic gesture with each mosque provided 25 bags of rice and two cartons of cooking oil.
