BARCLAYVILLE: The Paramount Chief of the Kplio Chiefdom in Grand Kru County, Chief Toe Heah has called for holistic fight against harmful substances.
The Chief indicated that the collective efforts are crucial to successfully address the complex challenges posed by harmful substances.
In a remark at the occasion of Liberia’s 177th national Flag Day in the County, Toe Heah recognized the detrimental impact of harmful substances on individuals especially the many young Liberians and the wider society.
Chief Toe Heah believes that a holistic approach is necessary to effectively tackle this issue and create a healthier environment for everyone, while urging parents to actively participate in initiatives aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of harmful substances.
The Kplio Chiefdom Paramount Chief also appealed to Security personnel to join community-wide campaigns, educational programs, and support groups to promote prevention and rehabilitation.
He called upon other stakeholders, such as local businesses, civic organizations, and religious institutions, to collaborate with the government in implementing the ARREST agenda.
Chief Toe Heah hopes that stakeholders especially the LDEA Security personnel will heed his call for a holistic fight against harmful substances and actively contribute to the success of the government’s ARREST agenda.
