MONBROVIA: Labor Minister, Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah, Sr., has cautioned public service employees to take any grievances they may have to the Civil Service Agency (CSA), for redress and not the Ministry of Labor.
He said the CSA was established by an Act of the Legislature to increase efficiency in the Nation’s Public Sector and that the CSA acts as the Central Personnel Agency of Ministries, Agencies and Commissions (MACs).
He also said the CSA is independent from all other ministries and agencies of government and serves as the central government agency responsible for managing the Civil Service.
According to him, the CSA is responsible for improving human resources, service delivery, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Service, which entail planning human capacity needs, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, and career development of civil servants.
