Clay-Ashland: With few days left for the celebration of Christmas, non- profit Organization, based in the United States of America, identified as Engage Your Minds (EYM) over the weekend donated food non-food items several community dwellers in Gbabe Town in Clay-Ashland in Montserrado County.
The aim was to bring joy to the Community dwellers of Gbabe Town located in Clay-Ashland.
Over two hundred persons benefited from the Engage Your Minds (EYM) donation.
This initiative is to encourage community involvement and to ensure that they experience the positive magic of the holidays.
Presenting the items to the community dwellers, the Chief Executive officer of Engage Your Minds (EYM) Madam Bendu Bean and Mrs. Christqway ina Belleh, told the jubilant community dwellers that the donation was their own was of identifying with themin this Christmas season.
Receiving the items, Gbabe Town community Mr. John K. Belleh in a joyous moon congratulated official and member of the Engage Your Minds (EYM) organization for the donation.
They appeal to all people of goodwill to emulate the good gesture of the Engage Your Minds (EYM) organization.
According to him, their community lacks safe drinking water and all social services including electricity health care among others
They appeal to local and international organizations to come to their aid.
Giving the brief history of EYM executive member Sarah Benson said the Engage Your Minds (EYM organization was born out of a vision to address the profound mental health crisis in Liberia exacerbated by decade of civil war.
It was when she founder Madam Bendu Bean to returned to Liberia in 2015 and observed widespread signs of trauma in the population manifesting as aggressive stress and mental health struggles.
